Web site status

What's new?

December 18, 1998
A new, easier, procedure is in place for obtaining passwords allowing access to GPS/MET data. To obtain a user id and password, fill out the form at http://www.cosmic.ucar.edu/gpsmet/datauseform.html and send it in. A user id and password will be automatically assigned to you.
October 1, 1998
We have found a new home for the GPS/MET web site! The new address (which you already know, since you are reading this) is

http://cosmic.gpsmet.ucar.edu/gpsmet

As part of the move, ftp access via existing accounts has been disabled. Fear not, GPS/MET data will still be available to users with existing Data Use Agreement accounts via the web interface.

May 1, 1998
Funding for support of the GPS/MET web site has run out. We are looking into options for a final home for our archive. In the mean time, the web site will stay up with its current set of products for the foreseeable future. Requests for CDROM data will not be supported, however.
March 30, 1998
This web site is changing its IP address from 128.117.29.44 to 128.117.29.212. Currently both IP addresses will work, but the old one will be phased out on April 6, 1998. Please use the name (pocc.gpsmet.ucar.edu) rather than the number if possible.
